Overview

This position is responsible for executing, administrating and analyzing pricing for large, strategic customers. Responsible for preparing and reviewing a variety of complex pricing and margin assessment models, preparing pricing presentations for customers, ensuring accurate data management internally, and for working in close collaboration with the other parts of the organization including sales, marketing, and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review and execute pricing monthly, quarterly or annually for existing and new customers with cost-plus or market based pricing models.
  • Collaborate with Sales to create strategic pricing recommendations.
  • Create pricing sheets and slides to be used in sales presentation.
  • Participate in sales presentations or customer pricing reviews.
  • Monitor market costs and manage cost related data.
  • Ensure pricing is correctly entered, maintained and updated in our systems.
  • Prepare and analyze profit and loss & contribution margin statements by customer or segment.
  • Validate and manage accurate accruals for rebates associated with customers.
  • Assist with other pricing related duties as requested by management.
  • Provide ad-hoc pricing, reporting and analysis on pricing, sales and products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA desired
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Statistics with at least 2 years experience in pricing in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with information systems, and proven experience with Excel, Access and PowerPoint and experience in organizing and analyzing large data sets.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and present financial and non-financial data in meaningful management reports including recommendations to external customers.
  • Makes decisions based on logic, factual information, resources and constraints, and in congruence with organizational values.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to take broad thinking around business issues and apply to company strategies.
  • Excellent teamwork, decision-making and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously, manage multiple, concurrent tasks and meet strict deadlines.
