Title: Field Service Tech
Location: Harrison, AR

Description:

POSITION: Field Service Technician
REPORTS TO: Service Manager
SALARY RANGE: Dependent upon experience

REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent Service Technician GS5 or above Minimum of 5 years experience required in the repair of heavy equipment and related products Ability to repair or recondition heavy equipment components including engine, transmissions, differentials, drive lines, hydraulics, brakes, and all supporting systems Ability to remove truck components including engine, transmissions, clutches, brakes, power divider and rear ends Ability to troubleshoot and determine appropriate repair procedures for heavy equipment and trucks Ability to maintain company required records and reports, to read and understand manuals, related literature and schematics, and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to work in adverse weather conditions. Safely operate a forklift, and to work odd and/or additional hours.

DUTIES:
Inspect and operate equipment to determine problems and appropriate repair procedures. Repair total unit including engine, fuel system and supporting systems. Test operates heavy equipment and trucks to make sure repairs are complete and accurate. Requisition required parts and return properly when unused. Accurately complete detailed service reports and account for time on each job.

NOTES:
Position is subject to extended work hours as business dictates. Current and past performance in department assignments will be considered as a part of the selection process. Transfers between departments, stores and/or companies are contingent upon realistic resolution of any vacancy caused by transfer from current department.
