Perspectas Civilian, State and Local segment partners with the U.S. Federal Civilian State and Local governments to provide infrastructure services, business solutions, and digital transformation services that help them achieve policy objectives and integrate citizen-centric services.


Responsibilities

On behalf of Perspecta Enterprise Solutions, this position will support one of our Government clients for infrastructure services that includes cloud, security, network, program management, and operations and maintenance. This position will support the infrastructure Dedicated Cloud services in support of IT Modernization efforts. This includes supporting legacy applications and databases and continuing to consolidate disparate Legacy IT Enterprise capabilities and enhancing the underlying infrastructure to support the legacy applications, and provide a cloud native/centric environment for all new IT projects and objectives. This is a senior level position that requires someone with good leadership and hands-on experience managing a large and complex IT environment. Working as expert and in collaboration with other team members to ensure the stability and operational efficiency of the infrastructure environment.Produces high-quality papers, presentations, recommendations, and findings for senior US government intelligence and operations officials.


Qualifications

Requires 10 years experience or BS/BA with a minimum 6 years experience.

It is required that the Enterprise Architect has the following qualifications and experience:

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) V3 Expert
  • Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) certification
  • Expertise in Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework
  • IT architecture design and implementation supporting software engineering and to maximize data processing, systems, building cloud compatible services and architecture and in operating and delivering in an Enterprise IT lifecycle.
  • Experience designing and building cloud compatible, service oriented, highly scalable and web-enabled enterprise architecture.
  • Knowledge Federal IT lifecycle management experience to include system security and auditing, data process and analytics, software development supporting methodologies and technology transitions.
  • Ability to build and manage IT solutions which include integrating multiple cloud technologies and experience designing, modernizing and building data warehouse using commercial, cloud and open-source technologies that meet compliance, availability and recovery requirements.
  • Experience transitioning legacy IT solutions including mainframe applications in part or whole to cloud architecture and environments.
  • Expertise in environments which support and have deployed Microsoft, Oracle, Informatica and SAP products. Oracle, Microsoft, Linux certifications preferred.
