Responsibilities

This is a Perspecta position would supporting a large government organization providing functional support across the programs enterprise planning and management scope as an Aligned Enterprise Planner (AEP). This position is the primary conduit representing the aligned customer organization requiring the focus, drive and communication skills that will provides Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) across the programs enterprise planning and management scope for a communications and engineering organization.

An AEP serves as the primary conduit to represent the aligned customer organization in the Enterprise Planning and Management Lifecycle roadmap tasks, such as strategy development, architecting, policy and governance, and investment planning. In this capacity, AEPs are responsible for representing aligned customer equities in enterprise functional activities, as well as sharing the status and outcomes of those processes back with their aligned customers.

AEPs leverage strong working relationships with functional stafffrom across the program to facilitate engagements with their aligned customer leadershipin support of functional tasksexecution. AEPs provide the technical leadership and direction in implementing enterprise information/data management practices and are responsible for leading and engaging in information/data management projects including the Enterprise Information Architecture, information models and flows, data dictionaries, data standards, and data quality standards and processes.


The successful candidate will work as a member of the contract Architecting team and perform the activities required for the development and maintenance of assigned enterprise architecting project(s). The candidate will:

  • Participate in enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development
  • Apply high-level business and technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at creative architecting solutions
  • Interface with government and other task stakeholders to effectively define the project and then iteratively gain feedback on products throughout the project(s)
  • Take the enterprise architecting project(s) from planning through final delivery
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews enterprise architecture deliverables from the team

Also, as a functional team member, the candidate may be requested to surge in order to support tasks and projects across the broader contract scope according to their specific, personal expertise and capabilities.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance w/ Polygraph
  • Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD
  • Ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication, transparency, and flexibility
  • Ability to relate professionally with senior Government customers and colleagues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired:

  • Certifications related to functional responsibilities such as but not limited to Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Information Technology (IT) Architecture domain experience in Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), or Federal Agency, with previous exposure to DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF), and/or Joint Architecture Reference Model (JARM) artifacts
  • Knowledge and understanding of Intelligence Community IT Enterprise (IC ITE) service offerings, architectures, and service adoption
