The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.


Lead a team of engineers to design, implement and maintain the technical work related to the proposed high-level network solution within design documentation, in a lab environment, and within customer environments. Work with Program Managers and key delivery team members in the design, development, scheduling, and implementation of the technical content defined in the Statement of Work. Support the Test Manager in the development of test strategies and plans for technology validation. Participate in strategies to develop and nurture consensus and working relationships with technical and program teams, both internal and customer-facing. Collaborate with the solutioning and delivery technical teams in the exchange and transfer of technical knowledge and in the development and evolution of architecture standards, guidelines, reference architecture, engineering, and the systems Technology Roadmap. Provide input into project status reports and participate in tracking and management of project issues and risks.


Bachelor or equivalent Degree with 12+ years of experience
Experience with campus (LAN) network design; experience with software-defined networking a strong plus
Experience with business process design and performance of impact and system analysis based on business requirements
Experience leading a team of engineers in a lab or production environment supporting implementation, and in management of technical engineering projects
Experience in developing and executing test strategies and plans or other technology validation strategies
Proven success in developing and nurturing consensus and working relationships with technical teams, both internal and client-facing
Experience in collaborating with solutioning and delivery technical teams in the exchange and transfer of technical knowledge and in the development and evolution of architecture standards, guidelines, reference architecture, engineering, and the systems Technology Roadmap
Communicate across communities with exceptional written and oral communications skills, including executive-level presentations
Ability to travel up to 25%
Must have an active Secret Clearance
Exceptional problem-solving skills, and experience with cross functional management
Strong technical project management skills
Leadership experience with diverse, multi-domain, distributed technical teams
Experience as recognized expert who designs, researches and develops highly advanced systems engineering solutions, which may result in new product/business opportunities
Deep understanding of DOD enterprise frameworks and risk management
Master's with 10 years of experience
Experience with Agile Scrum processes
