ADP is hiring a Director Product Management -- Workforce Now. Do you have the drive & passion for building products that delight clients? Do you want to work on the leading Human Capital Management solution and bring it to new heights? If so, read on!...In this position, you will sit at the center of a critical ecosystem and act as a product strategist, customer advocate, and help to guide product investments. You'll help lead product launch activities and ongoing market-facing support, predominately working in an agile environment, with a SCRUM team. You'll also combine business and product strategy to ensure the development and execution of the product is in line with the product road map and vision that the senior product owner sets forth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform various market research activities to identify market and business problems for ADP's mid-market clients.
  • Support the product strategy for ADP Workforce Now as it relates to Implementation platform, tools and digital transformation.
  • Coordinate the reporting product lifecycle from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life.
  • Develop user stories and requirements while evaluating their potential and practicality by analyzing market and customer needs.
  • Act as user champion when coordinating product development with business stakeholder and align all development activity with business goals and priorities.
  • Oversee the product backlog (grooming, prioritization and refinement), working day-to-day with the product SCRUM teams to clarify requirements, balance business needs with technical requirements, and recommend alternative technical approaches to meet design requirements.
  • Participate in product design process to assert business and user needs through the end-to-end design process.
  • Participate in user research and user experience evaluation sessions to fine tune use cases and design. Partner with product engineering in selection of technology frameworks and partners for key transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales and service on the development of product positioning, demo design, training courses, sales collateral, etc. to ensure that business objectives are achieved.

Education & Experience Requirements for the position:

  • Bachelor's degree (4 Years Full Time Program) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5 years of Product Management or equivalent experience such as Business Analysis, Product Ownership OR expertise in enterprise software implementation and implementation processes.
  • Software development background with formal business education preferred
  • 10% travel required.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of proven experience in B2B, complex SaaS applications
  • Ability to articulate the scope of compliance regulations for cross functional digestion.
  • Proven analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of PC, business, and project planning software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Research skills to continuously keep abreast on changing marketing trends and dynamics
  • Ability to prioritize requirements based on client and business needs.
  • Proven ability to develop deep customer insights
  • Exceptional communication skills; both written and oral.
  • Ability to win customers, influence partners and establish credibility with senior executives.
  • Proficiency working with data
  • Strong collaborative teaming and consensus building abilities as well as proficiency in cross-discipline cooperation.
  • Experience in the Human Capital Management industry is a definite asset
  • Experience in Enterprise Software implementation and implementation processes is a definite asset.
