The purpose of your role as the Director of Business Technology Solutions

As the Director of Business Technology Solutions, you will oversee all IT functions for the organization. Plan, direct and coordinate IT support, activities, networks, systems, hardware & software, system analysis, etc. to support and drive operations and strategic initiatives. Lead IT team to support the organization, across all regions/divisions.
  • IT Strategic Planning
    • Work with organizational leaders to develop technology plans, workflow automation, policies, and procedures in alignment with company goals and standards.
    • Provide strategic vision and leadership in the evaluation, development, and recommendation of solutions specific to the entire organization as well as specific solutions for departments and teams.
    • Develop and implement computer information resources, providing for data security and control, including requirements for government contracting, strategic computing, and disaster recovery.
  • Lead IT Department & IT Team
    • Assess current IT structure and make recommendations as needed to meet company objectives/goals.
    • Ensure IT Department meets organizational needs across the company from a system, hardware, software, networking, mobile, etc. perspective.
    • Develop and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and customer service within the IT team.
  • IT System Transitions, Upgrades & Implementations:
    • In collaboration with applicable business partners, reviews, assesses and analyzes software and hardware needs for the organization and all regions/divisions within the organization.
    • Coordinate, schedule, and manage the process of transitioning from existing to new platforms and systems, using integrated solutions when needed or to solve specific business problems.
    • Manage the design, creation and implementation of custom applications.
    • Act as an IT business partner (be the go-to IT resource) to resolve business problems, research options and make recommendations as needed. Connect various departments/teams to share IT resources or solutions while leveraging contracts or agreements.

What we're looking for in you
  • Bachelors degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Advanced Degree preferred
  • 8-10 years of expert knowledge of information technology concepts, procedures, and practices.
  • 8+ years of experience analyzing complex business needs and recommending technical solutions
  • 5+ years pf experience as an IT Director or IT Manager overseeing an IT infrastructure
  • 8+ years of demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate a dynamic and progressive technology environment
  • 5+ years of experience working with or managing telecommunications for an organization.
  • 5+ years of experience in programming & development, demonstrating proven ability to fully understand IT integrations and interfaces.
