Responsibilities

Under the overall supervision of the Project Manager (PM), the Deputy Project Manager (DPM) will serve as a part of the leadership team helping to modernize a Defense Health Agencys IT infrastructure to provide a standardized, robust, and highly available global infrastructure and enterprise core services, scoped from end-user desktop to data center, while adhering to the cost containment and operational efficiencies. The resultant IT infrastructure and operations framework will support a global data communications network, and enterprise services infrastructure, including data center(s), server hosting, and end-user platform capabilities enabling military and civilian government personnel worldwide to support the continuum of health services.
They will provide planning, direction, coordination, and control necessary to accomplish all work requirements and manage and oversee all activities performed by contractor personnel, including subcontractors.

Responsibilities:
Help to lead the implementation and management of the SIAM organization, processes, and policies in a multi-supplier environment
Support the required organizational change initiatives that will transition existing operations to the commercial-based SIAM ecosystem model
Participate in organizing, planning, scheduling, implementing, controlling, analyzing, and reporting on all elements of the contract.
Identify, mitigate and control risks. Drive process improvement and innovation.
Create plans and processes required to meet all performance, schedule, quality, cost, and security requirements.
Participate in program reviews and briefings; identify and report on issues or related problems and potential risks.


Qualifications

Requires BA/BS with 6 to 8 years of experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Experience in planning and implementing managed services
Experience applying the ITIL framework and best practices
Demonstrated Service Integration & Management/Multisourcing Service Integrator (SIAM/MSI) experience in previous Program/Project Management or equivalent leadership role
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Knowledge of Health IT technology including Electronic Health Records.
Experience with Service Desk support and operations
PMI PMP certification
ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance (ADP II Public Trust).
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance (ADP II Public Trust).
