We provide expertise in therapeutic, strategic, and company market analysis and competitive intelligence to the global pharmaceutical and healthcare markets, enabling them to ultimately make valuable and profitable decisions.  We are looking for an experienced analyst to oversee the Cardiovascular and Metabolic team. 



Description of the Role:


Reporting into Datamonitor Healthcare’s manager, the Lead Analyst will:


  • Define the strategy and direction for the Cardiovascular and Metabolic portfolio using industry expertise to decide upon areas of research
  • Oversee the content production of the Cardiovascular and Metabolic team
  • Serve as portfolio owner with final responsibility for content portfolio
  • Manage a team of analysts and work with them to enable their career progression
  • Work with other lead analysts and senior managers across the vertical on content planning and execution
  • Support marketing-led and sales-led initiatives
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to adjust communication style when interacting with customers, team members, peers and management 




  • Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences, a Masters or PhD would be an advantage.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry would be a distinct advantage.
  • Experience of collecting quality research and producing analytical reports.
  • The ability to interpret and integrate data and information to develop clear, logical and conclusive analysis.
