Responsibilities

Data Acquisition/ Management Specialist will be responsible for supporting the design, modeling or implementation of data warehousing activities supporting the execution, maintenance and ensuring the GUI remains current to all open web interface standards. They will program and configure warehouses of database information and provide support to warehouse users. They will be assisting the integration of real time visualization components while leveraging open source libraries. They will ensure high performance of the system is sustainable and track the maintenance (patches/updates) for reporting purposes to the customer. Understands data from the perspective of data processing and in the context of different life-cycle phases. Activities may include data quality engineering, metadata consolidation and integration, metamodel development and maintenance, repository management, data warehouse design and data mining, data security administration, and formulation of enterprise-specific data metrics. Develops the end-to-end vision and the logical design that translates into physical databases, and how the data will flow through the successive stages involved. Knowledgeable and practices a wider range of data administration skills, often in a Business Process Reengineering context. Participates in strategic data planning, including development and implementation of DA policies, standards, and procedures.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  2. Bachelor's w/ 10-12 yrs experience, Master's w/ 8-10 yrs experience, Or PhD 5-7 yrs
  3. Any Cloud-related Professional certification(s): [e.g., i. Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA) ii. AWS Solutions Architect (Professional)], iii. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, iv. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (Associate), v. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Professional), vi. AWS Certified Big Data (Specialty)]
  4. Experience leading a distributed cross-functional information technology implementation team.
  5. Experience using Agile systems implementation methodologies.
  6. Hands-on experience in large-scale distributed solution architecture engineering, integration, applications, analysis (e.g., mission needs assessment, design, development, implementation, deployment, sustainment, enhancement).
  7. Experience/Proficiency rapidly translating mission needs into end-to-end capabilities and services solution design.

Desired Qualifications:

  1. STEM degree (e.g., computer science, management information systems, systems engineering).
  2. Systems Architecture professional certification.
  3. Cloud-based solutions experience leveraging large cloud-computing infrastructure and platforms architecting, engineering, developing and deploying systems and applications into a cloud environment.
  4. Knowledge of/demonstrated proficiency applying SE&I process to solutions engineering, producing SE artifacts, designing solutions, performing trades, mission utility and affordability analysis, requirements engineering, interface definition, detailed implementation planning, tech insertion, risk management, readiness, certification and transition.
  5. Mission/Business Capability analysis experience determining how a capability should work and how changes in conditions, threat, mission, ROE, operations, technology and the environment will affect outcomes.

6. DIA systems experience [e.g., Machine-Assisted Analytic Rapid-Repository System (MARS), Generic Area Limitations Environment (GALE), Functional Intelligence System of Hierarchical Networks (FISHNet), FounDRI, Event Data, Defense Economics Database, Object Based Production (OBP), Activity Based Intelligence (ABI), IC Information Technology Enterprise (ICITE)].
