The Defense group supports the Department of Defense (DoD) mission to keep our homeland and its citizens safe. We provide solutions to improve the Nation's defense by providing software, systems engineering, IT, training and logistics and fleet management solutions.


ITCC II Cybersecurity Engineering (CSE) team members are responsible for providing Cyber Security analysis and support to Service Operations and Service Design organizational functions to review cyber security artifacts. CSE team members also review ITCC II technical solutions to aid in development of consistent mitigation strategies for all system vulnerabilities. Deliver cradle to grave security strategies. Review requirements to identify potential security vulnerabilities during the design stage of technical solution development. Perform Cyber Security analysis, correlation, and prioritization of findings discovered in scans and vendor bulletins. Provide vulnerability tracking and status reporting on vendor provided or DoD mandated security patches. Exercise knowledge of installation, maintenance, and upgrade techniques for Operating Systems and applications for server and client environments to identify security vulnerabilities. Assist in the development and implementation of all policies and procedures relating to Cyber and Network Security. Proactively monitor vendor and DoD Cyber Security notices and report results accordingly. Assist in development and assessment of targeted metrics to assess security postures. Understand, adhere to, and implement overall cyber security and configuration policies and procedures in alignment with industry standard security compliance framework.


Desired: Minimum of 10-12 years relevant industry experience desired Knowledge and Skills. Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Required: Experience working with federal regulations related to information security (FISMA, Computer security Act, etc.) Ability to interact with employees at all levels. Possess: 8570 IAT Level III certification. Certifications Desired: CISSP; CISSP-ISSEP; CISSP-ISSAP; CASP; CISA; GCED; GCIH; CISM; GSLC; CEH; CAP; GIAC

Experience: RMF, DIACAP, NIST Certification & Accreditation, Security experience in one or more of the following technologies: UNIX Operating System, RHEL Operating System, Windows Operating System, SQL and/or Oracle Database, CISCO IOS.
