- Provide technical support and expertise to the Government Program Manager (PM) in all aspects of the program, to include: (a) analysis of performers' technical deliverables and publications; (b) independent review and summary of technical literature and emerging technologies; (c) continuous survey and summarization of relevant research; (d) assistance in coordination with potential mission and transition partners; (e) assistance in testing and evaluation.
- Provide technical support and expertise for new concepts beyond this program, including support of seedlings, potential new start briefs, prize challenges, and other work in related areas.
- If necessary, provide support for specific deliverables in support of program activities.
- As necessary, assist with developing details in modifications to the Task Order.
- Architects, plans, configures, deploys, maintains, and upgrades COTS/GOTS and custom toolsets to address vulnerabilities and/or implement security controls.
- Applies a combination of expert engineering knowledge of enterprise IT and security solutions to design, develop and/or implement solutions to ensure they are consistent with enterprise architecture security policies and support full spectrum military cyberspace operations.
- Designs, tests, and implements secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, tuning and management of IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions.
- Includes security control design and solution planning at the system, mission, and enterprise level, security-in-depth/defense-in- depth, and other related IAM/ISSO/ISSE support functions.
- Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.
- Researches and evaluates cyber capabilities and new security tools and products against operational requirements and introduces them to the enterprise in alignment with IT security strategy, and to support the offensive and defensive capability design and troubleshoot and problem solve technical and non-technical issues.
- At the Leadership level this is senior technical staff dedicated to transforming customer environments into a more secure operating environment in a holistic manner.
- Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. Contributes to development of new principles and concepts.
- Participates with senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.
- Recommends/makes decisions on administrative or project work matters and ensures effective achievement of program, project, or organizational objectives.


- Bachelors' degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer security, information systems, or relevant fields with ten years of work experience in one of these fields.
- Ability to proactively manage multiple, concurrent tasks.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the Research & Development Community, including experience with requirements development, test and evaluation and transition.
- Minimum of 3 years with cyber security, intrustion detection and cloud based services in a highly cleared environment.
- Minimum of 3 years experience with network security
- An active Top Secret SCI with polygraph


- Masters' degree with twelve plus (12+) years of work experience in computer science, computer engineering, computer security, information systems, intrustion detection and cyber security.
- Familiarity with big data technologies and their application.
- Two (2) years' experience in cyber methods for insider threat detection.
- Two (2) years' experience building analytics to detect malicious cyber incidents.
