Responsibilities

The COTS Integration Lead will oversee a team performing integration services for an intelligence community client specifically focused on COTS as part of a larger DevOps effort. The team will perform COTS/developed applications system engineering, baseline integration, deployment package creation, functional acceptance/compatibility testing, and support the deployment of Government-directed solutions to ensure successful incorporation into an operational baseline (new or upgrades).The Lead will be responsible for integrating approved COTS/developed applications upgrades into the baseline and provide support for resolution of DRs for integrated COTS software. Activities will include: Engineering, developing, integrating, and maintaining software code as necessary to integrate COTS/developed applications information solutions to deliver requested capabilities, based on mission needs and approved requirements.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  1. Coordinates the planning, design, and installation of equipment, using knowledge of engineering and programming as well as sophisticated instruments and computers.
  2. Conducts system calibrations after the hardware and software are installed.
  3. Provides technical guidance to management on changing trends and emerging products in the industry with the view to further improve existing technology and its application
  4. Develops and maintains manuals, drawings, system specifications, electronic and hardcopy files of customer installations, calibration records, maintenance records, and quality control information.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  2. Bachelor's w/ 10-12 yrs. Experience, Master's w/ 8-10 yrs. Experience
  3. Demonstrated experience leading system integration teams
  4. Experience using Agile systems implementation methodologies

Desired Qualifications:

  1. STEM degree (e.g., computer science, management information systems, systems engineering).
  2. DIA systems experience
