POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Financial Intelligence Corporate Sales Specialist is a domain expert understanding and articulating the full value proposition and capabilities of the core financial intelligence platform. The Corporate Sales Specialist is responsible for the strategy and execution of all new sales of their core solution set to an assigned client list working alongside and supporting the Corporate Account Managers to deliver on a focused Senior client growth strategy. In this role, a Corporate Sales Specialist is responsible for leveraging their domain and product expertise to assist Corporate Account Managers to identify and uncover growth opportunities within these Senior clients as well as supporting opportunities presented by the Corporate Account Manager. In addition, Corporate Sales Specialists are also assigned new client revenue opportunities among an assigned list of Corporate non-clients. These market leading non-client firms require the skill and planning from an experienced Sales Specialist to be successful. A Corporate Sales Specialist must be articulate and capable of proposing powerful solutions for our clients in a simple yet compelling manner.   In addition; Corporate Sales Specialists are collaborative and creative individuals working with Product Management and senior business management to deliver effective and competitive solutions to our clients.

 

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The Corporate Sales Specialist is responsibilities for driving the sales process including:

  • A domain expert understanding the business of our clients able to articulate precisely how our solutions solve client problems and create value.
  • Maintain a deep working knowledge of the Financial Intelligence platform and the solutions behind that. A Corporate Sales Specialists is the knowledge expert supporting the Corporate Account Manager’s efforts to convert client opportunities.
  • Create and implement sales plans to target and penetrate target non-client prospects including targeting and engaging senior executive decision makers.
  • Design and implement a cohesive sales strategy drawing on the various business disciplines i.e. marketing, product management, etc., to deliver on a sales goal.
  • Collaborate effectively with Corporate Account Managers to successfully support growth targets.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume.
  • Effectively maintain and forecast successful pipeline activities including all relevant client engagement materials.
  • Report and record sales information in SalesForce CRM to disseminate pipeline and client engagements to senior management and the business.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA from an accredited college or university.
  • Proven track record of new business results, ability to achieve and exceed meaningful sales goals.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in direct sales to the investment or financial services industry.
  • Experience in both working effectively with others in a team setting and in an independent environment.
