Perspecta has an immediate/upcoming need for a Computer Systems Analyst inWashington, DC.

Perspecta is currently conducting interviews to make contingent offers for an exciting potential new customer, the Department of Labor (DOL). Candidates with a current Public Trust clearance, and all other qualified personnel are encouraged to apply for immediate consideration. The customer states that employees working under this task order shall be United States Citizens or legal permanent residents (i.e.: "Green Card Holders").

Under general supervision lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities in a project/program office environment. Analyzes and reports project economics including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk. Ensures adherence to legally binding requirements. Creates and controls project/program documentation including the WBS and the project plan; contributes to requirements, risk schedule, and change control. Develops understanding of the contract detail and determines whether work is in scope. Provides requested information to the client. Works closely with client's project/program office. Documents needs for changes to requirements. Develops the ability to estimate and communicate the impact of change requirements. Provides project management knowledge during marketing efforts. Assists in the training of project/program office and project team staff on application of procedures. Adheres to quality standards. Develops awareness on emerging technologies and project management techniques. Monitors sub-contractors.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field a plus and 3 years experience OR Associate's Degree with 5 years experience OR 7 years minimum relevant experience


Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Experience working with various computer systems such as but not limited to Dell, HP, and Microsoft brands.

  • Experience with operating systems - Windows 7 Enterprise Professional and Windows 10.

  • Able to support updates to operating systems based on needs and security, and system that require support for future operating systems, including potentially the use of non-Microsoft Operating System devices.

  • Able to assist with ensuring Hardware and software standardization.

  • Able to provide software standardization and maintenance to include operating system/software patches and updates, driver and firmware updates, antivirus release management and software deployment support utilizing System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).

  • Workstation refresh support, including inventory control and maintenance/warranty coordination.

  • Support for new Microsoft Windows 10 release models including Current Branch and the Semi Annual Channel ongoing release model.

  • Able to create and install system images.

  • ITIL v3 Foundation Level certification a plus.

  • Security+ certification a plus.

  • CompTIA A+ certification preferred.

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE) certification a plus.

  • Experience in "Workstation Management" to provide a comprehensive approach to managing all of the computers within an organization.

  • An Active Public Trust or the ability to obtain a clearance.
