**Role Summary:**

Clinical Applications Specialist MI will be responsible for driving & executing the clinical & educational processes & programs while developing strong relationships within Nuclear Medicine & PET/CT customer accounts. Responsibilities may include directing & delivering training strategies, provide hands-on & didactic training through the implementation of onsite curriculum & processes.



**Essential Responsibilities:**

Support & assist the customer account to improve productivity, patient care & quality by optimizing user technical & clinical competencies, image quality, workflow & protocol management. Closely collaborate & communicate with multiple levels of internal and external constituents & key stakeholders throughout the account community. Additional responsibility includes providing the required pre-sale product demonstrations (or clinical trial support) as well as post-sale customer education activities to support sales objectives.



Coordinate, schedule and deliver objective based system / feature training and education support for customer accounts over an extended period while demonstrating full range of product features, capabilities and benefits



Execute domain expertise responsibilities as outlined in the Priorities of a Clinical Applications Specialist



Execute training through rigorous implementation of skill checklists and assessments and drive thorough recording of outcomes. Communicate results to broad constituency



Liaison with department leads and work with key opinion leaders to assist in standardizing and optimizing protocols / imaging parameters and provide current state or progress updates to internal and external constituents. Facilitate best practice sharing amongst various account departments



Assist customer in advancing new product (NPI) features and imaging techniques. Partner with customer in developing training plans / strategies that support new product assimilation and ongoing training needs



Drive consultative applications services discussions and recommend additional support options for site specific solutions. Propose and deliver solutions based programs that drive productivity for the customer and growth



Produce well-written post-training reports and provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs



Drive higher performance in shared customer metrics including customer experience, IB retention and growth within modalities/regions



Provide technical and clinical leadership during sales process by demonstrating full range of Nuclear Medicine (NM) and PET/CT product features, including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers as needed



Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and promotion



Work with the assigned regional MI sales leaders and account community teams to present clinical value proposition of GE MI product line to customers. Support MI sales, orders, and margin targets



**Qualifications/Requirements:**



Quality Specific Goals:



1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position



2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines



3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required



4. Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPAA Guidelines, NEMA Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Intl Law is broken.



5. Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, GE Healthcare Fleet Rules, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or US / Intl Law is broken



6. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position



7. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required



8. Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.



1. Required active CAMRT/OTIMRS professional clinical/technical certifications/registries necessary to image live patients in a clinical setting

2. Demonstrated current basic clinical scanning proficiencies on current products/platforms



3. Minimum of 2 years clinical/ technical experience following certification with demonstrated clinical/technical skill in specific



4. Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region & nationally.



5. To the extent you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned/leased, privately owned/leased or rental vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record.



**Desired Characteristics:**

1. Strong preference for experience with PET/CT, in addition to Nuclear Medicine clinical procedures.

2. Experience in speaking, presenting materials relevant to diverse audience



3. Demonstrated self-starter, self-directed, team oriented individual who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic business environment and places personal and business integrity at forefront.



4. Demonstrated ability to understand and present complex material in understandable terms.



5. Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills (ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to external customers, global counterparts and to team members in other functional organizations)



6. Solid problem solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict, communicate issues and propose solutions to both internal team members and external customers)



7. Ability to craft well written training reports and communications to a diverse constituency



8. Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities at one time



9. Willingness to be flexible/adapt to changing work environments



10. Clinical experience in variety of clinical settings preferred



11. Current GE product experience desired



12. Working knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint



13. Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred in related business or technical/clinical field



14. Ability to communicate effectively using local language (Bilingual - French & English)
