## Job Mission

ASML is the world's leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines critical to the production of integrated circuits or chips. ASML's corporate headquarters is in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. The company has lithography research, development and manufacturing operations in Wilton, Connecticut and in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. Technology development centers and training and application facilities are located in Asia, Europe and the United States. The Manufacturing Operations in Wilton Connecticut is responsible for the production of lithography tools as well as purchasing and logistics. The complete production process of the most advanced machines takes place within Manufacturing.

## Job Description

This position is based in New Product Introduction Group (NPI) within the manufacturing sector in Wilton, Connecticut.

To realize 'World Class' support to Manufacturing in order to ensure highest product quality, short lead-times and 'short time-to-market' by continuous improvement of ASML's new and existing products and processes.

* Evaluate test results from RGA, GC/MS, and XPS equipment to determine if the parts, assemblies, or modules meet contamination requirements.
* Interface with internal and external customers regarding contamination test result, testing methods, and control strategy.
* Create and direct equipment calibration, upkeep, and new equipment specification and procurement for all analytical instruments used in manufacturing.
* Provide hands-on support for equipment upgrades, swaps, and troubleshooting
* Responsible for maintaining reticle stocking levels and quality within existing stock.
* Review Failure Analysis Reports from suppliers and help validate the root-cause of the failure.
* Define and create Manufacturing procedures and specifications.
* Create and design production tooling & qualification test as required.
* Support in-production issues by assisting Production Assembly and Test Engineers and Technicians with concise troubleshooting of the Electro-Mechanical systems and sub systems.
* Evaluate and disposition failed parts with proposed solutions.
* Provide technical direction and advice to the Wilton Cleaning Center

## Education

* Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or equivalent experience.

## Experience

* Knowledge of common chemical analytical techniques such as: Mass Spectrometry, XPS, GC/MS, & RGA
* Experience with vacuum systems – mechanical aptitude a plus
* One to Five years (or more experience) in an Engineering environment.
* Working knowledge of Unigraphics and SAP a plus.
