**Role Summary:**























Baker Hughes, a GE Company is seeking a Business Development Manager for our Downstream Chemicals division. This position will report to the Business Development Group Downstream/Midstream. Our ideal candidate will develop and implement and support sales strategies for a specified geographic area and business area.























**Essential Responsibilities:**



















+ Develops and implements strategic and tactical marketing plans for introduction of business into new geographic area and /or introduction of new business into already established area. sales growth targets





+ Manages product line sales ( Process/FFA)





+ Facilitates the formation of alliances or joint ventures. Assures strategies are consistent with Overall Organization Strategies.





+ Trains, coaches & develops sales representatives





+ Manages technical and non-technical training to sales team





+ Prioritizes product/opportunities to maximize sales and profits.





+ Provides necessary technical/sales support to maintain and grow business.





+ Interfaces across the internal organization





+ Handles special projects as assigned





+ Develop and maintains relationships with internal customers related to product/applications and services























**Qualifications/Requirements:**



















+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent





+ Excellent years of experience in related field





+ Thorough understanding of Downstream Chemicals products/systems, customer requirements and market conditions





+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills





+ Thorough understanding of the entire sales process and ability to close business





+ Ability to build strong customer relationships





+ Demonstrates professional business acumen





+ Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)





+ Willing to travel





+ Work under pressure and capable of meeting business deadlines





+ Ability to work under minimal supervision
