Role and responsibilities:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and developing new business relationships with Financial institutions. As the Business Development Executive, the role will take the lead in the development of new business opportunities that supports Informa overall growth strategy. We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for sales, who takes a hands-on approach to building business opportunities.
In this key position, the BDE will work closely with marketing, sales, and product management teams to achieve established lead goals and implement business development initiatives that maximize growth of the Informa Financial Intelligence’s footprint across financial institutions and generate bottom line revenue for the company. This includes lead generation (contacting existing accounts to identify upsell opportunities, helping arrange sales roadshows and running targeted campaigns), helping coordinate regular visits to existing client and new prospects, and identifying new sales opportunities.
The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. One must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Entry level role for a high-achiever interested in sales and financial markets
• Requires excellent communications skills (phone, in person), organisational ability and interest in financial market data
• Background in finance or economics preferred, but not essential
• Proficient with corporate productivity, web presentation tools, Excel and reporting
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
