Perspecta has immediate openings in our US Public Sector group for ACD/IVR Technician(s).


Owns and manages the ACD/IVR Technologies and Interaction/Integration with Cloud Voice/Data Providers.

Job Duties/Responsibilties

  • Plans, evaluates, and/or coordinates the installation of local and/or remote data and voice communications equipment such as terminals, modems, video conferencing units, concentrators, minicomputers, central processing units, facsimiles, and pagers.
  • Designs entire networks or portions of networks that include selection of hardware and software packages. Oversees voice network reconfiguration and billing reconciliations.
  • Experience interacting and migrating to Cloud Voice/Data solutions such as InContact, Five9, Genesys, etc.
  • Ensures that all software including network control programs satisfy the communications needs covering both the hardware and software installed. Company expert in the development of standards for carrier service and equipment.
  • Ensures that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions.
  • Provides regulatory monitoring and voice network analysis regarding short to long range planning for in-house systems.
  • Responsible for resolving daily voice and data network issues in response to IT Operations Center alerts and escalations.
  • Involves working with Security Team, Project Managers and other staff in order to resolve a multitude of voice and data network performance and monitoring issues.
  • Responsible for Voice/Data network/hardware/software maintenance and updates.


  • Requires 2 to 5 years with BS/BA or 0 to 2 years with MS/MA/MBA or 8 to 10 years with no degree.
  • Requires a SECRECT Government Security Clearance

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience maintaining Cisco or Avaya/Nortel Contact Center Enterprise system applications and related ACD/IVR hardware.
  • Experience maintaining an enterprise size VoIP technology architecture and design.
  • Experience maintaining large Private Branch Exchange (PBX) telephone systems related hardware.
  • Experience maintaining the integration between Cisco or Avaya/Nortel Communications Manager and Unity Voice mail system.
  • Experience maintaining a large network dial-plan, calling search spaces, and device pools configurations related hardware in a large enterprise network.
