Corporate Account Manager – Italian/French Speaker


We currently have a growth opening within Ovum (Informa Telecoms, Media and Technology), for an Italian/French speaking Account Manager with a track record of success in consultative sales and top tier account management, this is truly a unique opportunity.  This position offers substantial earning potential with a good base salary plus excellent commission structure that is uncapped.


Reporting to the EMEA Sales Director, our EU Account Managers are responsible for managing client relationships and driving new business opportunities on a regional basis, with the aim of migrating clients from inconsistent deal values to high, value-based contracts. Selling Intelligence products and services, we are ideally seeking applicants that have previously sold business information or related services into the commercial/private sector both nationally and internationally.


Key responsibilities:

  • Be the principle commercial contact between Ovum and your assigned customer base.
  • Optimise and manage existing sales revenue and growth from a designated Accounts base to ensure high levels of customer retention and revenue growth.
  • Penetrate and develop new business from a defined list of development accounts
  • Extend the geographic and demographic spread of your products within your assigned customer base.
  • Determining client needs and being constantly aware of opportunities to sell to different job titles within an organisation– understanding and developing business challenges is critical to the role and experience in a solution sale in the past is a requirement



  • Strong presentation, organisational, communication, negotiation and closing skills both by predominantly phone but also experienced F2F
  • Verbal and written proficiency in either - Italian, French, German, Spanish (preferably Italian/French)
  • Highly developed business acumen and ability to understand the wider issues of the Technology industry
  • Client development and retention skills to build long term profitable partnerships with clients acquired.
  • A minimum of 1 years experience in B2B solution sales environment with both phone selling experience with F2F meetings of 2 years +
  • Ideally a degree achieved at a minimum of 2:1 in any discipline (Business related degree’s preferable)
  • Strong business development track record that can be backed up
  • Experience in presenting the value of market information is desired however selling a solution based/consulting sale is the need, not a transactional sale
